Kelly Fox, the Executive Vice President of Operations, Finance, & Support (OF&S), began a series of monthly Lunch and Listen sessions for the campus community in August 2022. These interactive sessions allow faculty and staff to engage directly with Kelly in meaningful conversations to share ideas, pose questions, and build stronger connections within the division and across the campus community. Nearly two years later, these sessions have become a cornerstone of OF&S’s engagement efforts and are popular amongst faculty and staff, hosting 17 sessions attended by 131 participants.
Building on this initiative’s success, OF&S is broadening the scope of these sessions to include members of the OF&S leadership team. A member of the OF&S leadership team will join Kelly for lunch and conversations with the Rice community, where faculty and staff can engage more deeply by bringing forward their ideas, questions, and concerns specific to each leader's domain. OF&S leaders are committed to providing an unparalleled customer experience and deeply value the feedback and partnership of the community to identify and illuminate opportunities to improve service to the campus community.
