The Dandelion Cafe, a new addition to the O'Connor Building, has quickly become a favorite for a quick bite or coffee meeting for students, faculty, and staff. Established in 2016 by a culinary couple with a background in fine dining, the cafe was founded upon a local legacy emphasizing flavor and quality. Co-owner and Chef JC Ricks sums it up nicely: "If we're not making it ourselves, we're getting it from a local shop."
Their seasonal menu is curated with local ingredients to ensure freshness and uphold their commitment to sustainability. Their dedication to offering nutritious scratch-made meals is evidenced in their freshly made burgers with hand-shredded cheese and espresso drinks accompanied with in-house almond milk. With vegan, vegetarian, and soon-to-come gluten-free options on its menu, there's something delicious for everyone to enjoy.
