After a successful launch in FY25, OF&S is expanding the enterprise instance of Asana to reach even more teams in FY26. The platform has already helped streamline project coordination, centralize support, and unlock new efficiencies—and the next phase will bring those benefits to hundreds more.
Laying the Groundwork and Growing Adoption
This initiative began with the consolidation of over 300 paid users into a centrally funded enterprise license—delivering immediate value through the Strategic Sourcing Initiative by reducing costs and unlocking advanced features. Since then, nearly 200 users have transitioned from Monday.com, further unifying project work across campus. Guided by the Operational Excellence & Engagement (OE&E) team, the implementation has followed a strategic and thoughtful approach—one that supports users, builds community, and promotes sustainable adoption and collaboration.
Now Expanding Our Footprint
With strong interest and clear demand across campus, OF&S is increasing the number of enterprise licenses from 500 to 1200 in FY26. This strategic investment will bring more teams to the university’s go-to platform for cross-functional collaboration, reinforcing effective project management.
OE&E is already connecting with department contacts to coordinate onboarding. Asana’s continued rollout supports:
- Greater cross-departmental alignment and transparency.
- Improved project visibility and accountability.
- Continued standardization of project management practices across the institution.
Next Steps
If your team expressed interest in joining the enterprise instance, you’ll hear from OE&E soon. Teams already using Asana can also expect continued support to help them make the most out of the platform’s capabilities.
As always, departments unsure about joining the enterprise license can explore the free version of Asana, which is ideal for small teams just getting started.
